Inheritance
As 2008 closes and the New Year unfolds, the Global Financial Crisis continues to grip the nations of the earth with fear and frustration. Many have lost houses, retirement plans, jobs, and the future dream of a quite, relaxing senior assistant living facility in Malibu. A lot of Americans are extremely worried about the future and wondering what their inheritance will be.
The reality is that the inheritance we should be worrying about is NOT found in the stuff of the world—massive houses, 401ks, stocks, bonds, flat screen TVs, IPhones, etc. The inheritance that we should be putting all our focus on and investing everything we have is the Apostolic Inheritance found in Psalm 2:8. It reads, “Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession.”
Our eternal God-given inheritance is the nations of the earth. It is the broken, beautiful people of the earth! The dream in the heart of God is an assembling together of a people after His presence from every tribe, tongue, and nation blazing in white-hot, passionate worship before His holy throne! This is His focus; it is what He has invested everything in! AND it is the inheritance that He has prepared for you! Will you take it?
The people of the earth are wide open and waiting patiently for YOU!
This is the year to arise and engage the very dream of Heaven! This is the season to invest everything to see the His glory cover the earth! This is the moment to sound the clarion call and gather the nations in worship!
The nations are waiting for you to come and take them as your inheritance!
Are you too busy or too worried about your own dreams to engage in the dream of God? Does the life that you’re creating for yourself matter? What will your inheritance be? What are you living for? What are you investing your live in?
There is no better investment than the people of the earth!
As you pray, prophesy, and sing in your Burn sets, CRY OUT FOR THE NATIONS! Contend for global breakthrough!! Break open the heavens with your sounds, believing that He will come to the nations! Let petitions for the nations arise for your lips that echo in the throne room of Heaven! Invest with your prayers to see the dream of God fulfilled!

Prophetic Word Over Turkey
The first night we were in Turkey, having a pre-Burn meeting with M’s in the country, the Lord spoke to me very clearly concerning this nation.
The Lord said that Turkey was like an expectant mother whose water was about to break. The purposes of God for His Kingdom in Turkey were about to be birthed and there would not be a stillbirth. There would be a breaking forth of salvation and God’s Kingdom in this nation. The prayer movement forming in Turkey and its leaders would act as spiritual midwives to know when to push and when to rest. God clearly spoke that this child would not be stillborn. This birthing is very close.
While in Turkey, God gave me a heart for this people and also opened the opportunity for me to be a part of helping one of the M’s to set up Life Houses for those with intellectual disabilities. There are no services for this population in Turkey, and this could raise the quality of life for the intellecutally disabled in the whole nation.
I truly believe that the simple act of obedience of worship and intercession can change a nation. Anyone contemplating going on a Burn Trip, should just do it. GO!

It is a new day and a new morning here in Turkey. Sleepy and “blazed out” from a night on my face before the Lord…I sit here and reflect as two Turks passionately cry out to the Lord on behalf of their nation. Beautiful, unique, lovely….there is no other sound like it in the entire world! God is lavishing His love on his Turkish bride and He is so pleased at this pure fragrance of praise that is arising from this tiny room. We have out grown this room, not an inch of the room was free last night and over 330 joined us online from all over the world on our live web sync!
I sit this time not as one who is here to impart, to model, or to even lead a set. I myself have only led one set in these 60 hrs! I sit here as a sister from the United States in Burn Turkey, this belongs to this nation. It no longer feels like OUR thing or something that WE introduced….I am hearing this sound and seeing the synergy that this 60 hrs is creating. Burn Turkey is different this year. It belongs to this nation, it is their song that is shifting the foundations of this nation…not the Burn team’s sound alone. YES, God’s plan is for us to come along side and encourage and support, but we are here only to support. It is so exciting to see the indigenous sound arise and to see this movement take root in this nation! No doubt, they will contend until Jesus returns, whether we are here or not! THAT IS SO EXCITING!
We are the fire starters, those who carry the flame of his love and passion from nation to nation starting wild fires! We encourage, we fan the flame, but when we leave, the fire burns on and it doesn’t leave with us. It consumes, in BURNS in the hearts of those who are hungry for His Presence! The streets of this old city are FILLED with His praise and the atmosphere is saturated with the sweetness of His Spirit! He is drawing, He is wooing, He is singing over this nation THROUGH the TURKS!!! THIS is true transformation!
Last year, the flame ignited here and spread to over 5 other cities and worship and prayer is taking root in this nation like I’ve never seen!!! What else is there? There is nothing else that can be done! They’ve tried everything else and in the end they are coming back to the one thing and the ONLY thing that will draw all men to HIm….HIS PRESENCE, we lift up the name of Jesus above every name! That is the only strategy for the salvation of over 70,000,000 souls!
This is the underground sound that will shift the systems in this land, this is the sound that will cause Turkish lovers to arise, they cannot and will not be denied! We are believing for such a movement that catalyses TRANSFORMATION!! That is the only strategy for church growth! GET ON YOUR FACE! We are believing for a nation to be changed in a single day!
TURKEY, you belong to Jesus!

Burn Turkey Update
Just a few days ago, worshipers from all throughout Turkey and around the globe descended on Antalya for 60 hours of contending for revival in Turkey. It was an amazing gathering of Turks, Koreans, Brazilians, Americans, Welsh, Canadians, Indians, and many others who lifted up a non-stop sound of worship, prayer, and prophetic proclamation that is still echoing across the nation! We were joined by ten Burners from across the US who not only helped host this national Burn, but also helped model a new emerging wineskin fusing missions and worship into one! Some of the highlights from the Burn Turkey Adventure were…
- Seeing a young Turk receive a vision of Jesus, be delivered from spiritual strongholds, filled with the Spirit of God, and begin to sing prophetically all in about 30 minutes during the National Burn
- Logging over 100 hours of worship and intercession for Turkey in strategic places including praying in 3 mosques during the Night of Power
- Re-digging the ancient spiritual wells at Ephesus, Laodicea, and Attalia originally dug by Paul, Luke, John, Mary the Mother of Jesus, and tons of other early apostles and leaders
- Spending hours and hours in relational, park, and musical outreach to kids and teens allowing them to experience the Truth through our interactions with them
- Releasing heavenly sounds in a café while connecting with and praying for those around
- Feeding the body and spirit of the local worker community through “Pancakes and the Presence,” where we fed workers priceless breakfast treats, imparted the vision of the Burn, and released prophetic prayer over their lives and ministries
In addition to these highlights, there were tons and tons of other incredible experiences that you can only truly understand if you were here. So please begin praying about joining us next September for the 2009 Burn Turkey Adventure. You don’t want to miss out!
